The Manufacturing Process
We're the secret ingredient for many leading North American food retailers and convenience foods manufacturers.


Using traditional European methods and the latest meat processing technology, Kretschmar creates the highest quality meat products based on the specific requirements of our customers.

From the selection of raw materials to the way it's prepared and produced, nothing is left to chance. By using precise computerized formulations, we maintain consistent high quality standards from one production run to another.

Throughout the entire process, we manage food safety using HACCP guidelines and Canadian Food Inspection Agency standards. In addition, we have implemented our own stringent quality control system.

Food Inspection ImageOur quality assurance department sets all quality control procedures, runs best cost formulations, and develops our raw materials management system. Throughout our facility, food technicians monitor the raw materials on the loading dock, in the testing laboratory, and on the production line.

 

     

If that's not enough, every year we open our doors to a third-party audit of our entire meat processing facility. In the last three consecutive years, auditors have rated us over 90%. It just doesn't get any better than that.
